Wing foiling in South Holland
Alongside the North Sea coast near Den Haag and the Delta, South Holland has a series of inland lakes that are popular above all for wing foiling and windsurfing. Lakes like the Zevenhuizerplas near Rotterdam and the Kagerplassen near Warmond are shallow and quick to reach, ideal for learning and for getting onto the water fast on a weekday evening. On most of these inland waters kitesurfing is not permitted, so they feature here as wing foiling spots. As everywhere on inland water, the gusts are sharper than at sea, so keep a margin in your kit size.
