Kitesurfing, wing foiling and foiling on the Belgian coast
The Belgian coast is one continuous North Sea beach from De Panne to Knokke-Heist, with kite zones from De Panne and Oostduinkerke to Zeebrugge and Het Zoute. The beaches face northwest, so westerly to northerly wind is onshore and safe here, while southerly wind quickly turns offshore. Wide beaches, a big tidal range and a local crew in many places. Kitesurfing is only allowed in the designated launch zones, marked with red buoys and signs, and these differ per resort and sometimes per season. Every spot on Windulu sits at such a zone and states the rules. The same beaches are just as good for wing foiling or foiling.
