Kitesurfing, wing foiling and foiling on the Belgian coast
The Belgian coast is one continuous North Sea beach from De Panne to Knokke-Heist, with well-known spots such as Ostend, Nieuwpoort and Blankenberge. The beaches face northwest, so westerly to northerly wind is onshore and safe here, while southerly wind quickly turns offshore. Wide beaches, a big tidal range and a local crew in many places. Exactly where kitesurfing is allowed varies by resort and season (guarded zones, swimming areas), so check the local rules on the spot. The same beaches are just as good for wing foiling or foiling.
