Kitesurfing, wing foiling and foiling on the Danish North Sea
The Danish west coast runs from Rømø and Blåvand via Hvide Sande to Klitmøller, which kiters also call Cold Hawaii, and Løkken in the north. The sea beaches face west, so westerly wind is onshore there and easterly wind offshore. Behind the dunes lie Ringkøbing Fjord and the Limfjord, with flatter water but also wildlife reserves where kiting is banned. Denmark has no national kite law: the bans are set per reserve, and every spot on Windulu states them.
