Kitesurfing, wing foiling and foiling on the German Baltic
On the German Baltic, Fehmarn is the best-known place, with beaches on every side of the island, so almost any wind direction is onshore somewhere. Tides hardly matter here. Kiting is allowed outside the bathing beaches and the nature protection zones, and on bathing beaches only through the designated lane. On Rügen, Suhrendorf is the only place in the Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft National Park where kiting is allowed, on flat water in the Bodden.
